Michael is a Director of Greenstreet Berman Ltd with over 30 years’ experience and leads our a) research, evaluation and communications portfolio of work, mainly for government agencies and regulators, covering promotional, regulatory, risk management and communications issues, and b) safety culture assessment and behaviour change work for high hazard organisations and public safety promotion agencies and charities.

Shirin has over 20 years’ experience in accounting across various organisations. She is our finance manager responsible for all finance related matters including monitoring of day-to-day financial operations within the company, reviewing financial data and preparing monthly and annual reports, tracking the company’s financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement; and establishing and maintaining financial policies and procedures for the company.

David is a Chartered Ergonomist and Human Factors Specialist with 15 years’ applied experience particularly within the rail, nuclear and defence sectors. David has applied a range of HF techniques and activities, such as developing HF assessment criteria; data gathering; conducting scenario-based exercises (using prototypes and mock-ups), requirements capture; usability assessments; task analysis (HTA, link analysis) and Human Reliability Assessment (Using HEART and THERP to derive human error probabilities. David has extensive experience of providing HF support to the development of Safety Cases, particularly the identification, assessment and substantiation of Human Based Safety Claims (HBSC), as well as participating in HAZOP, as well as optioneering and ALARP meetings.

Rebecca is a Chartered Health Psychologist with the British Psychological Society, registered with the HCPC and accredited (TAP Cert.) Practitioner. Rebecca oversees the company’s training portfolio and has almost 10 years’ experience of consultancy, training and research spanning defence, nuclear, rail, healthcare and utilities sectors. Her core areas of work include Non-Technical Skills, Safety Culture, competence assessment and behaviour change with respect to corporate and/or public safety and well-being behaviours. Rebecca is Greenstreet Berman’s course co-ordinator for the Energy Institute’s five-day Human Factors Foundation course (accredited by the CIEHF).

Ludmila is a Chartered Psychologist, certified coach and principal practitioner of the Association of Business Psychologists. She has 10 years’ experience deriving from consulting, training and research in the field of Occupational Psychology. Ludmila oversees our Research and Evaluation portfolio and possesses experience in a range of research methodologies, literature reviews techniques, programme evaluations and an array of analytic and diagnostic tools. Her key areas of work include competence assessment, stress management and well-being interventions, design and facilitation of Non-Technical Skills training (Crew Resource Management, CRM), management of employee engagement programmes, design of leadership development and coaching programmes, Safety Culture assessments, and organisational change management.

Nikki Legg

Nikki has completed a series of Human Factors projects for the rail industry on fatigue, prevention of passing signals at danger, car stop markers and route knowledge. She has supported projects at Greenstreet Berman Ltd on safety culture assessment, fatigue risk management and human reliability assessment of safety critical tasks. She has a developing interest in the Human Factors of safety critical operations and the optimisation of human performance.

Samuel Opiah

Samuel has five years’ professional experience and is qualified in psychology. Samuel started his career supporting mental health research prior to joining Greenstreet Berman. Since joining us he has worked on mental health, stress, leadership, safety culture, accident analysis, major accident risk profiling and emergency response readiness. He has a developing interest in supporting the improvement of human and organisational performance through the application of psychological and Human Factors techniques, and has supported work in the energy, rail, emergency response and other sectors.
