Greenstreet Berman Ltd's Human Factors group has a portfolio of government and blue chip clients in the transport, energy, utilities and other high-hazard sectors. We help organisations manage risk using human factors, behavioural, communications, risk management and stakeholder engagement techniques.
The post supports our Human Factors work in the nuclear, gas, transport and other sectors, where we adopt a solutions oriented approach to process safety and operational performance. This includes applied Human Factors, such as task and error analysis, Human Reliability Assessment, interface ergonomics and safety management. It can also include research into such areas as safety culture, organisational factors, competence and development of associated tools such as web enabled safety culture self-assessment tools. We also offer training in Human Factors and safety leadership.
A post-graduate qualification, 1 or more years of relevant experience and an interest in high-hazard industries is preferred. Some of the work may require security clearance. You need to be stimulated by a wide variety of project work, keen to work in a small dynamic consultancy and enthusiastic about risk management.
