Government, regulators and agencies are looking for new ways of continually improving occupational health and safety performance. We bring a combination of psychology and communications expertise along with subject matter expertise in occupational health and safety to help develop sustainable and effective solutions.
Our work aims to:
- Assess the true extent and causes of issues such as the extent of compliance with Employers' Liability Compulsory Insurance;
- Develop an understanding of employers' and workers' attitudes and behaviours and how and why these vary between people, so that strategies can be based an understanding of beliefs and perceptions;
- Build dialogue with stakeholders to identify their issues and concerns, solicit their thoughts on solutions and "reality check" proposals;
- Identify new and alternative ways of improving occupational health and safety, whether this is through education, incentives, partnerships or regulation;
- Pilot and evaluate schemes so that strategies are based on evidence of performance;
- Produce communications materials that use latest electronic technology, and which "speak to" people in their own terms.
What we do
- We support evidence based policy making through research, surveys and evaluation;
- We enable dialogue with stakeholders through truly interactive communication and engagement;
- We develop applications, guides and communications materials.
